2. Definitions
- Service: RUNTINE and related functions provided by the company.
- User: a person using the service under these terms.
- User information: account information, profile data, goals, records and other information entered or connected by a user.
- AI coaching: running plans, feedback and guidance generated using user information and AI models.
- Paid service: subscription features or other functions offered for a fee.
3. Acceptance and changes
The company makes these terms accessible with their effective date. Acceptance of these terms is separate from acknowledgement of the privacy policy and optional consents. Consent choices must not be preselected.
Changes are announced with their reasons and effective date. Unfavorable or material changes are also individually notified, and renewed consent is obtained when required.
4. Registration and age
The proposed operating age is 14 or older. Users provide the minimum information needed to create and use an account.
Draft implementation note: age blocking and a guardian-consent flow have not been verified in the current implementation. Before these provisions take effect, an age check before social sign-in and a corresponding server record must be implemented.
5. Service scope
The service may include:
- Managing running goals, races, schedules and workout records.
- Personalized AI training plans and feedback.
- Importing selected records from Health Connect or Apple Health.
- Safety references based on pain and injury information.
- Creating record images, notifications, inquiries and privacy-rights requests.
The Korean fallback on which this translation is based does not describe real-time GPS recording as provided. Record-image composition is performed locally on the device. Unconnected Strava or Garmin integrations and automatic health imports must not be treated as available features.
6. AI guidance and safety
AI coaching is general running information. It is not medical diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation or emergency care, and does not guarantee an effect on any disease. Input errors, platform limitations and model limitations can produce inaccurate results.
Check your condition and surroundings before following guidance. Stop exercising if concerning symptoms occur and seek professional help when appropriate. The company identifies AI-generated guidance and allows users to review and adjust it.
7. Health connections and external platforms
Health connections are optional. Refusing permission does not prevent basic service use, although importing records and related coaching may be limited. Imported records can contain errors, delays or duplicates.
When an external platform changes policy or is unavailable, the company provides reasonable information and alternative input methods where possible.
8. User responsibilities
Provide accurate information, protect your social sign-in account and device, and report suspected misuse.
Do not use another person's information without authorization, interfere with security or service operation, make excessive automated requests, reverse engineer the service, or post unlawful, harmful or rights-infringing content.
9. Restrictions and review
Serious violations may lead to proportionate warnings, restrictions or suspension. The company provides the reason, duration and an opportunity to respond in advance, except when urgent security action is necessary. Users can request review by contacting hello@caretine.com.
10. Intellectual property and user records
Software, screens, documentation and company content belong to the company or their respective rights holders. They are licensed for personal service use.
Users retain rights to their workout records and notes. They permit the storage, conversion and display necessary to provide the service, backups, security and support. Advertising use or general-purpose AI training requires a separate choice.
11. Paid services, renewal and refunds
For new Google Play subscriptions in South Korea, the monthly plan costs ₩8,900 per month during the promotion, with a 7-day free trial for eligible subscribers. The annual plan costs ₩59,000 per year. The free trial is only available to new monthly subscribers on Google Play in South Korea who have never used Premium (Pro). Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the monthly plan automatically renews at ₩8,900 per month during the promotion. The promotion’s end date and the price after it ends have not yet been determined. The annual plan has no free trial and automatically renews at ₩59,000 each year on the anniversary of your purchase. Existing subscribers keep their current agreed price. iOS · South Korean App Store: ₩12,900 per month or ₩129,000 per year. An update to iOS promotional pricing is planned. The final price and subscription terms are those shown at App Store checkout. Check the final price, taxes, trial eligibility, automatic renewal and cancellation terms on the store’s checkout screen.
Before checkout, the product, price, currency, billing period, renewal, trial end and conversion, cancellation, refunds and service period are disclosed. Store policies apply without unlawfully restricting statutory withdrawal or refund rights or liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
12. Account closure and deletion
Users can request account closure at any time. Until an automated public flow is verified, requests may be made by email with identity verification.
Information is deleted under the privacy policy. Payment, dispute and consent evidence required by law is stored separately for the designated periods. Local drafts or device settings may require separate deletion.
13. Changes and interruptions
The service may change or be interrupted for quality improvements, legal requirements, platform changes, security or unavoidable maintenance. Material changes are announced in advance when possible.
The company makes reasonable recovery efforts. Extensions or refunds for interruption of paid services depend on the affected period and applicable law.
14. Responsibility
The company makes reasonable efforts to maintain service safety and accuracy. Responsibility for user inputs, devices, networks, external platforms and uncontrollable events is assessed according to fault and causation.
These terms do not exclude responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including intentional misconduct or gross negligence and statutory rights concerning life, bodily harm and privacy.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. The parties first seek to resolve disputes in good faith. Unresolved disputes are handled by the court with jurisdiction under civil procedure law. Contact hello@caretine.com for service or dispute inquiries.
