Adjusting your training as life changes
Get help with your first plan, missed workouts and changes based on your effort level and how you feel.
Choose a beginner goal and enter your running experience, recent weekly distance and the days you can train. Start with walking and comfortable running. If the first sessions feel too hard, review your current fitness and how you feel, then reduce the intensity.
You don’t need to make up every missed workout the next day. If you miss one or two sessions, move them to days you have available or continue with your next workout. After several days off, consider how you feel and your recent training before adjusting the intensity and recovery time in your remaining plan.
Yes. First, check that your running profile reflects your weekly distance, personal bests and how often you can train. After workouts, log your effort level and how you feel, then review the suggested changes to intensity and recovery before applying them. If the plan still feels wrong for you, update your goal or current fitness level and build a new one.
In your running profile and plan settings, review your weekly training frequency, training days, days to avoid and long-run day. Update these preferences for the next plan.
Log any new discomfort, changes in existing pain and how it affected today’s workout. Review options such as lighter training, a plan focused on recovery or a break from running, along with the reasons for each suggestion. Apply your chosen option or edit the schedule yourself. This does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment.
