Editorial policy

Editorial policy

The RUNTINE editorial team helps readers make informed decisions by explaining both the evidence and its limits.

01

Start with people's questions

We do not create articles for search volume alone. We first identify specific, recurring questions about schedules, recovery, pace and race preparation.

02

Prioritize original evidence

We prioritize guidance from public health bodies and university sports medicine departments, along with original research and consensus statements. Community posts help us identify readers’ questions, but we do not use them as evidence.

03

Explain limits and uncertainty

When studies disagree or results vary widely between people, we do not present a single number as the answer. We make it clear that general information is not a personal diagnosis.

04

Show when content changes

Each article shows when it was published and last updated. We correct significant factual errors once confirmed and make it easy for readers to contact us.

Authors and reviewers

Current blog posts are written by the RUNTINE editorial team. We do not label people as medical or coaching experts without verified identities and qualifications. If a qualified external reviewer contributes, we will publish their name, role and review date in the article.

Limits of health information

RUNTINE content and free tools provide general exercise information and do not replace medical diagnosis, treatment or personalized medical advice. Stop exercising and consult a medical professional if you have chest pain, feel faint, have unusual breathlessness, pain that changes how you walk or worsening symptoms.
